Who I am
A mother, minister, photographic artist and active community member. Most of my life was spent in small country towns and am so thankful to have raised my children in one. Leaving my dad’s home at 15 and intended to head to New Castle but was waylaid at my mums for almost 2 years. How totally glad to have never got there. At 17 I left and travelled regional Australia working as a Jillaroo until I was 19. Working as a Jillaroo until almost 21 in the town I raised my family. In the throes of travelling regional Australia I have worked in shearing sheds and bars, kitchens and a community hospital, a school and heritage railway organisation, driven school buses and done family day-care, and worked creating business marketing tools. I have volunteered in organisations and worked with sporting groups.
Why Portraits?
Portraits are the voice of our memories. For too many the memories grow slowly silent. My dad left us in October 2020 and I have so few pictures of him. I would have loved to have one on the wall. His first great grand child is due this year and those few photos will be the only way they will know how he looked as they learn who he was. I am determined where I can to create memories with as many as I can so their future generations do not miss out on a huge part of your story.
I believe a high quality photo displayed on your wall is the next best thing to having the person with you. When you come to capture moments in time with those you love or on your own it gives me the opportunity to give you a boutique experience. It is important to offer flexibility so whether you want to shoot indoors with studio lights, outdoors or on location. I am excited to be the one stop studio for dating site photos, family portraits, pet portraits and individual portraits. You can get extra copies to share with loved ones at a special rate!

There is something just amazingly wonderful about regional Australia affording its people many opportunities and experiences that others could never imagine. It is the sights and sounds, the feel and the smell, the people and the activities that last a lifetime and forever leave both and echo and a song all its own in the heart and mind of those that have experienced it.
Not only is regional Australia’s people and industry important to me, I am passionate to help business owners in these areas succeed in business and have more time for family and community. Having raised my three children in the country I understand some challenges and celebrate the wonder of it all. It is time, without a doubt, to bring the life skills, business practices and personal achievements to the regional towns of South East QLD and North East NSW. I am excited for the people I will get to work with and have great expectations for the outcomes.
